Arqiva, the UK’s communications infrastructure and media services company, have provided infrastructure and broadcast transmission facilities to the UK and Ireland for over 90 years. As one of the most important companies in communications, Arqiva own and manage some  of the UK’s critical infrastructure for TV, radio, digital and mobile phones.Arqiva

Having provided the transmission capability for the BBC’s first radio broadcast in 1922, Arqiva know the importance of impeccable service and needing the employees to deliver it.

Graduate Development Programme

In September 2014 they launched their first Graduate Development Programme and ahead of this approached OnTrack International to deliver a comprehensive and sophisticated learning programme designed to attract and retain the very best graduates in a highly competitive market.

Initially Arqiva worked with Bright Futures, an OnTrack International partner, where candidates were selected and appointed in March, with a two year Graduate Programme devised to begin that September. As a technical company, hiring highly skilled graduates to meet future needs, the programme required needed a thorough understanding of their development aspirations and company values.

As one example of the collaborative process, OnTrack International helped Arqiva integrate aspects of the wider business into their Graduate Programme to capitalise on the potential of their graduates.

The experience and passion delivered by Principal Consultant Mary  Tillson means OnTrack International is seen as an integral part of the Graduate Programme process and a natural partner to Arqiva. Graduate engagement is high and the strategy of ongoing and everyday development taught in Mary’s sessions is evident in current graduate attitudes after only two formal sessions and three months of learning.
