This is the last in my trilogy of papers about Think, Believe, Achieve. I will use some of Stephen.R.Covey’s seven habits of highly effective people to provide a framework.
But how do you define effectiveness? I have asked this question to workshop delegates who attend my Personal Effectiveness course in many different countries and the situation transcends borders and encroaches the lives of people everywhere. I once asked a group of bank executives, as I always do, to write down on a post it how you define “Effectiveness” and 80 – 90% of the audience defined it has deliver y, getting things done, efficiency etc… I suggest this is where we go wrong as it is only half of the equation of True Effectiveness.
