Eager, energised, focused and influential: the people who have rising talent within organisations have immense value, but only if we engage with them. We need to recognise who they are and we need to do all we can to retain them and help them grow within our organisation rather than somebody else’s. They have the potential to be our future leaders and current innovators.
Rising talent can bring three specific values to our organisations: the motivation of others, driving team performance and informal change agents to help us become the business we need to be. But all of this is only possible with meaningful and appropriate engagement.
