Our outplacement service is designed to help people manage transition, identify new opportunities and move forward with confidence.  As soon as the decision is made, we work with you to plan and manage the process professionally and as sensitively as possible.

Individual Outplacement

Our one to one service is very personal, private and highly tailored to the specific needs of the individual.  Our consultants are chosen for their experience of outplacement consulting and their interpersonal sensitivity.  We appoint a consultant who will match and connect with each individual as we believe the relationship is very important.

A plan is developed based on organisational and individual requirements.  We believe every situation is different and every person is affected in different ways.  We spend time to understand and plan the best approach in conjunction with you.  Support comes via face to face meetings, email and telephone.

Typically, we cover:

  • Guide to redundancy - a self help guide available online or on DVD
  • Skills profile - a capability assessment and possible career options, we can also include psychometric testing
  • Skills development - this may include presentation skills, interview skills, influencing, personal impact
  • Self promotion - how to market yourself via the CV, application form and covering letters
  • CV development - helping develop a powerful CV
  • Interview preparation - looking at the interview and projecting best possible impression
  • Job search - where to look and working with agencies

Group Outplacement

Typically we work with small groups of people 8 to 10 maximum.  A one or two day workshop is developed by one of our professional consultants in conjunction with you.  This is designed in context of the organisational and the individuals.

We focus on developing partnerships between group members and encourage them to help each other.  This enables development and support beyond the programme.
