Solution Development
The key to the success of any people development programme is an accurate appraisal. Without qualitative information, the solution will fall short of expectations. OnTrack have a unique approach to achieving your business objectives.
Our first step is to build a close working partnership with you, our client. It is important we get to know you and how you like to work. We adapt to meet your specific preferences. We will then work with you using our four phase process.
Phase One – Appoint Account Manager and Project Leader
You will have an account manager who is there to ensure all goes smoothly and you are happy with all aspects of what we do. You will also have a Project Leader appointed for their specific expertise to best address the project challenges. Both of these people will keep in regular contact and agree how and when to communicate to your satisfaction.
Phase Two – Situation And Solution Analysis™ (SASA™)
This is quite simply about gathering quality data and accurately articulating what the issues are and identifying the best possible solution.
The Project Leader will organise a meeting with all key stakeholders. They are experts in what we call SASA™. Our process assesses nine key performance areas:
- Leadership
- Company Vision and Goals
- Culture
- EQ and corporate behaviour
- Management
- Staff engagement
- Customer satisfaction
- Processes and procedures
- Performance Management
Each performance area is assessed from the following dimensions:
Situation Analysis – to identify; problems, causes, core issues, undesirable behaviour, systems and process weaknesses, objectives, values and competency frameworks.
Solution Analysis – to identify best solution options; e-learning, face to face, blended, consultancy, process development, evaluation criteria and ROI measurement.
Both these processes involve structured in depth questioning to illicit accurate information critical for the design of the programme. They help us uncover information crucial to the success of any project.
Typically, SASA™ takes up to a day. At the end of this session, all stakeholders will be clear on what the solution will address and know exactly what it will look like.
Phase Three – Design
Our project leader will work with OnTrack's design team to perfect the solution. This is done with you and your development team. Our solution design concepts are sent to the stakeholder team. We discuss our rationale, agree adjustments and ensure complete satisfaction.
Final design is agreed.
Phase Four – Delivery
A team of our delivery experts are selected in conjunction with you. Once all parties are happy with the selection of expertise, we begin train the trainer sessions. This comprises of familiarising trainers with the SASA™ data and the methodology of the programme. Most of our solutions use Blended Learning combining a range of learning methodology.
Depending on your objectives, delivery can be in conjunction with your own in house consultants. They are also welcomed into the train the trainer process.
Our Train the Trainer programme usually embraces Blended Learning methodology. Typically, this would include a range of e-learning technology such as Pod and Vodcasts, e-briefings, coaching, workshops and virtual classrooms.
For large projects, we often develop a Client Resource Centre as part of our web academy. This provides a central point for communication between consultants and can enable you to be fully involved in the process. It enables innovation by the sharing of ideas and information. This can be particularly valuable for large international programmes, ensuring good connections across cultures.
